Hi, my name is Luke Pickett
I am a Game Developer.

A game released on the Roblox platform in late 2022, Valor is a medieval team-based action game. It features large scale AI battles and seperate player controlled gameplay. I codeveloped this game with user Brick_man and a large part of this project was both the grid based map system and the pathfinding needed for the npcs to navigate that system. Since the map was generated uniquely we had to use a custom A* pathfinding algorithm.

The Pi website was a attempt at learning react and persuing one of my personal curiosities. The website is made using mostly the pure react library and the github pages package. As far as content goes it covers several different ways to calculate Pi and incorperates a geogebra interactable demonstration.

In early 2025 I stated working at the VR/AR studio at Southern Utah University. It was a lot more team-based compared to my other experinces and we had to communicate to successfully finish a project. The job was maining working within the Unity game engine and required that I build the portions of the assigned projects, this sometimes required asset creation from scratch.
